Steven Geosits | CEO, Finray
25+ years in financial control & data leadership across global markets | Building the data infrastructure financial services need for what's next
Steven Geosits has spent 25+ years at the intersection of financial control, data architecture, and the kind of market turbulence that reveals exactly where systems break.
His vantage point is singular—someone who's navigated the machine at two of the world's most consequential financial institutions, through both crisis and rapid growth.
He has seen, from the inside, why legacy data environments struggle under the pressure of modern regulatory, operational, and AI-readiness demands一and what it takes to rebuild them better.
That experience doesn't just inform his perspective. It defines it.
Where He Is Now
Steven leads Finray, a category-defining tech solution empowering financial institutions with the data foundation they need for AI readiness, regulatory compliance, and scalable operations.
The Journey
Steven built his career ascending through Fixed Income Product Control, from Head at Barclays to Global Head at Morgan Stanley, where he guided the function through the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis.
From there, six years as Chief Data Officer at Jefferies, where he re-engineered the bank’s data architecture and management environment. Then, co-founder of Clarity Services Group, a financial and data management consultancy before launching Finray in 2023.
